About / 03
i'm yurie.
I write software, work with hardware and like knowing what happens underneath the interface.
A little more about me
i like knowing how it works.
Most of my work starts close to the machine: assembly, C/C++, firmware, boot environments and the debugging that comes with them. I also build web software and experiment with Kotlin, native graphics and different language ecosystems. I have some familiarity with the Intel Itanium architecture as well.
I've worked on System-on-Chip (SoC) code during internships at NASA and NCR. At NASA, I also collaborated with guidance, navigation and control (GN&C) and environmental control and life support systems (ECLSS) teams on code-development efforts intended for potential future spacecraft applications.
My personal hardware work spans Raspberry Pi, Linux, GPIO, networking, serial connections and self-hosted services. A custom home security system brings several of those pieces together, from device inputs through software, network transport and recording.
Other interests include FiveM and Roblox development, scripting and compatibility work. You'll find both working projects and ongoing experiments in my repositories.
